Ceremonies and Their Callings

The First Ceremony or Calling is a Clan Meeting. The Leader Will Yowl These Words Across the Clearing or Camp:

"All cats old enough to catch their own prey join here beneath the HighLedge for a clan meeting."

The Second Ceremony Would Be The Apprentice Ceremony and the Leader Would Say:

"By making apprentices, we show that Fernclan will survive and remain strong and fit.""From this moment on, until they have earned their warrior name, this cat will be known as **first part of name + 'paw'"."**Chosen Mentor's Name**, you are now ready to take on and teach an apprentice. You will mentor **Apprentice's Name**. You have shown **quality 1** and also **quality 2**. I hope you pass on all of your knowledge to this apprentice.

The Third Ceremony Would be Choosing a Mentor, Which Would Go with the Ceremony Above, and the Leader Would Say:

 "I call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. They have lost their menotr, **old mentor's name**.  Their new mentor will be **new mentor's name."

The Fourth Ceremony Would Be Making a Warrior, and the Leader, The Mentor (of the becoming warrior), and the Apprentice Becoming a Warrior Would All Particapate in This:

(Leader)"**Mentor's Name**, do you believe that this apprentice is ready to become a warrior?"
(Mentor)"Yes, they are ready."
(Leader)"I, **leader's name**, leader of Fernclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as a warrior in their turn."" Do you, **apprentice's name**, promise to uphold the warrior code and defend Fernclan, even at the cost of your life?"
(Apprentice)" I do."
(Leader)" Then by the powers of Starclan I give you your warrior name. **apprentice's name", you will now be known as ** warrior name**. Fernclan welcomes you as a full warrior.

The Fifth Ceremony is a Warrior Becoming an Elder. The leader and the Warrior Becoming an Elder Participate in this Ceremony:

(Leader)"Do you, **Warrior's Name**, wish to give up your name as a warrior and become an elder?"
(Warrior)"I do."
(Leader)"The clan thanks you for all of the wisdom and service you have given Fernclan. I call upon Starclan to give you many seasons of rest.

The Sixth Ceremony is a Cat Getting a New Name. The Leader Says:

"I call upon my warrior ancestors to give this cat a new name, for their name no longer stands for who they are. **Cat's Name**, from now on you will be known as **Cat's New Name**."

The Seventh Ceremony is a Kit Becoming a Medecine Cat Apprentice. The Medecine Cat and the Kit Say:

(Medecine Cat)"**Kit's Name**, is it your wish to enter the mysteries of Starclan as a medecine cat apprentice?
(Kit)"It is."
(Medecine Cat)"Then come forward."
-Kit walks forward-
(Medecine Cat)"Warriors of Starclan, I present you with an apprentice medicine cat. They have chosen the path of a medicine cat. Please grant them your wisdom and insight so that they may understand your ways and heal their Clan in accordanance with your will. Now, **Apprentice's New Name**, lay next to the Moonstone or Moonpool.

The Eighth Ceremony is a Medicine Cat Apprentice Becoming a True Medecine Cat. The Medecine Cat and the Apprentice Say:

(Medicine Cat)"I, **Medicine Cat's Name**, medicine cat of Fernclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. They have trained hard to understand the way of a medicine cat, and with your help, they will serve this Clan for many moons. **Apprentice's Name**, do you promise to uphold the way of a medicine cat, to stand apart from rivalry between Clan and Clan, and to protect all cats equally, even at the cost of your life?"
(Medicine Cat Apprentice)" I do."
(Medicine Cat)"Then, by the powers of Starclan, I give you your true medicine cat name. **Apprentice's Name**, from now on you will be known as **New Medicine Cat's Name**. Starclan honors your courage and certainty, and we welcome you as a full medicine cat of Fernclan."
